The scraper thin film evaporator is a new type of high efficiency evaporator, which is made by rotating the scraper to form film and evaporating efficiently under vacuum. The thin film has high evaporation strength, short overflow time and large operating elasticity, and is especially suitable for the evaporation and concentration of heat sensitive material, sticky material and easy crystallized granular materials, degassing and dissolving, distillation and purification. Therefore, the scraper film evaporator has been widely applied in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, pesticide, daily chemical, food and fine chemical industries.
Structure and characteristics
Higher vacuum: the flow direction of the material and the two steam flow direction are reverse, so the vacuum degree in the evaporator is high (the pressure drop loss is small), allowing the operating pressure to reach the lower operating vacuum, the experimental scale of the equipment vacuum can reach 10Pa, even if the industrial scale equipment can reach 1-100Pa.
The operating temperature is much lower than the boiling point of the material: due to the large proportion of the gas phase channel in the scraper thin film evaporator, the lower pressure drop can obtain a higher evaporation operation vacuum, and the boiling point of the material is also greatly reduced.
The heating time is short: by using the vertical scraper film design, the retention time of the material on the heating wall is short. For the other distillation, the heating time is generally longer (more than 30 minutes or even dozens of hours), while the scraper film distillation is only ten seconds. The thermal decomposition may be minimized.
The efficiency of mass transfer and heat transfer is superior: the mechanical scraping film system, which is different from other defects such as the falling film evaporator, has uniform film thickness and excellent flow characteristics in the thin film evaporator, because the area of the liquid surface and the heating surface is almost equal, and the mass transfer and heat transfer efficiency are superior.
The scraper film evaporator can be used as a reboiler of a distillation column, and is combined with a distillation column for a thin film distillation device, which effectively improves the evaporation efficiency and the separation effect.
